The Bakehouse Theatre is located at 255 Angas Street, Adelaide, 5000.  It is newly painted red and black/grey, so it isn't too hard to spot!  It is on the corner of Cardwell Street.  Click here for our full contact details.  See the map below for more information. Here are more details and photos of our two theatre spaces, the Main Theatre and the Studio Theatre. To enter these theatres, the audience must walk across the stage, therefore we regrettably cannot let latecomers in until interval (if there is one). Latecomers may sometimes be able to watch the show in the foyer via a video link but this is not always available or guaranteed to be working. So make sure to arrive well in time! We recommend arriving 30 minutes beforehand ideally. Please see here for more information.
 

Parking

The Bakehouse theatre does not have a specific car park allocated to it, but there is plenty of street parking available. However you may need some time to find an appropriate park so please keep this in mind given that you need to arrive (at the latest!) 15 minutes before the show starts to pick up your tickets.
 

Disabled Access

• There are no allocated disabled parking spaces near the theatre so please follow the information in the above paragraph
• The Bakehouse has wheelchair access. It has only one step into the theatre where a wheelchair ramp will be provided.
• Audience seats can be removed to accommodate wheelchairs but you will need to notify staff or put a "comment" on your booking so that we cater for this in our audience numbers
• Disabled toilets are available, but they are on the dressing room side of the theatre, so please notify Front of House staff when you arrive if you require these facilities. Your audience seats will then be allocated with ease of access to this requirement in mind.

Bar

There is a bar in the foyer where we sell drinks and food which may be taken into the theatre. The bar will be open before the show and during the interval (if any).
