The Bakehouse Main Theatre is a charming space with an audience capacity of 76.

It houses a wide range of professional live theatre shows at affordable prices.  These shows are run by both the Bakehouse, and other theatre companies who hire the space.

It is fully air conditioned and there is a fully licensed bar in the friendly foyer. Drinks may be taken into the theatre. In Jan 2012, it will also have brand new audience seating.  (new photos to be put up here soon)

Tickets are sold by general admission, and may be booked through this website. Go to the show that you want to see and click on BUY TICKETS.  This will take you to our new booking system where you no longer have to log-in to buy tickets.

Bookings may also be made by phone, (82270505) but these will incur a $2 per ticket booking fee.

If you are a theatre company wishing to hire the theatre, please go to "HIRE" on the top red menu bar.  There you will find all the information you need about the theatre space. In particular, you should download the attachments "standard conditions of hire" and "optional conditions of hire".
