Adelaide Fringe Festival 2010 - Sneak Preview - Coming sooner than you think to the Bakehouse
As most of you will know, live theatre in Adelaide takes a well-deserved break over the December/January period each year, returning with renewed vigour, enthusiasm and all of the qualities necessary to join in the exciting Adelaide Fringe Festival Programme.
We are proud to announce that The Bakehouse Theatre will host a wide variety of excitingly different shows, covering many different genres, produced by both local and interstate artists.

Here is a sneak preview of the 9 different shows being brought to you by 8 different theatre companies.
Some will be presented in our new Studio space and some in the Main Stage:
- "Foxing Round a Story" presented by Jessie McKinlay - a contemporary dance work
- "Clean as a Whistle" presented by Joanne Sutton - a kooky cabaret
- "Up Late and Alone in Denmark" presented by James Beach - a different look at the most epic tragedy ever
- "Antigone" presented by Renegade Productions
- "Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus" presented by Renegade Productions
- "Mada vs Vegas - The Dueling Magicians" presented by Mada Productions - Australia's most provocative and compelling magicians go head to head in a battle royal of magic!
- "The Chronic Ills of Robert Zimmerman: AKA Bob Dylan (a lie) - A Theatrical Talking Blues" presented by Tamarama Rock Surfers - a re-imagining of the life and times of Bob Dylan
- "Bill Henson and His Children" presented by Julian Brophy - a short play about why Kevin Rudd should have studied art
- "Sex Wars" presented by NIDA. Three short sexually aggressive plays by NIDA directing graduates - "Motel", "Medea", "Leaves" (warning - contains nudity + live music + unconditional theatre)
