My Name is Rachel Corrie is the powerful story of one person's passionate journey in the global struggle for sense and justice.
Performed to acclaim throughout the world this production was the hit of the 2010 Adelaide Fringe Festival and stars 2009 Adelaide Fringe Award Winner (Best Theatre Performer) Hanna Norris as 23 year old Rachel Corrie, a college student and human rights activist from Olympia, Washingto who was crushed to deathe on 16 March 2003 by a bulldozer in the Gaza strip, as she protested against the desturuction of Palestinian homes.
A gifted writer, Rachel left behind a series of diaries and emails from an early age which were crafted into a 90 minute solo play by award winning British actor Alan Rickman and Katharine Viner, Deputy Editor of The Guardian.
