A Motel, Northern Territory, the first year of the intervention. A child has been found by a protection officer, in the dirt, in the dark, under the house where the dogs lie. A young cop wants to go back to his mate's wedding party but something strange is happening to his pregnant wife. A woman is stuck in purgatory reliving the moment when she ceased to be, she is lonely and wants another to join her. An exploration of intense, violent relationships, desperate people trying to find answers when fate feels like it has already been sealed. Featuring a cast from all corners of Australia this is an "impression on space and time within our universe".

Eroticism and murder drip through a pre-apocalyptic urban wasteland of haute couture, hedonism and corruption in this re-imagined classic tale of a woman's love, loss and revenge. A multi-discipline, multi-media Medea from the stunning text by Heiner Muller, this production incorporates beautiful, live, hybrid classical/industrial/electro music from highly acclaimed contemporary Australian singer/songwriter and actor Emma Dean and sound composer Tyson Mackenzie, with breathtaking feats from actor and acrobat Lia Reutens. Actor and musician David Berry rounds out the trio of performers with electric violin, singing and heady sex-appeal. As a wall of television sets explodes it's MTV-inspired imagery onto the stage, this mouth-watering story of a devastating love triangle feels like a rock concert with a broken heart amidst a neon graveyward of fears.

Through the Leaves is an uncompromising relationship drama, a three hander with a difference. Written in 1976 by German playwright, Franz Xaver Kroetz. In 1970 his plays provoked such a violent audience reaction that the theatre had to be put under police protection. Martha is a successful businesswoman, running her own tripe butcher's shop. Otto is her man-friend, a packer in a factory who uses Martha for sex. Rolfi is a German Shepard. The portrait of Otto is an unrelenting one: "Just take your knickers off". What makes the play remarkable is the lengths that this woman will go to in order to hang on to him.
Just when is any relationship better than nothing?
