Bad Company devised and performed their first work "Threshold for Sara" at Higher Ground in August 2008. Core members Kurt Murray, Paul Herbert, Matthew Vecchio and Nina Pearce are graduates and former students of Adelaide's Flinders Drama Centre and NIDA in Sydney. Based on the experiences of Laina Murray, the show told the story of a girl, her addiction, her relationships and her mundane job at a 24 hour store.
The tales they present for the Fringe 09 are "The Adventures of Dead Jim," and "This Place." Drawing from much of their own experiences and using varied performance techniques, these shows are indicitave of Bad Company's desire to portray madness, isolation, humour, love and the search for something true.
Joining them for this Fringe ride are a fantastic group of actor/creators from Adelaide and abroad including Sarah Hone from Ireland and Georgii Speakman both with rich theatre and film backgrounds. interstate and abroad. Bad Company are extremely excited to be collaborating with them on these creative projects. They'd also love to see you there.
